| In 2004 we were
in Clemson, SC, on Sept. 24 and 25, with our 1st Vice President,
Steve Madden (Clemson). Teresa Holder (Peace College) was our
President, Carol Leeman (UNCC) was our 2nd Vice President,
with Robert Westerfelhaus (CofC) was the Annual Editor, Lynn Cherry
(CofC) was secretary, John Edwards (FTCC) was treasurer, and Elena
Martinez-Vidal (MTC) was web manager. |

theme focuses on the science of communicating, whether it is
electronic, visual, verbal, or face-to-face, and the diversity

was voted in as 2005 2nd Vice President. |

from UNC - Greensboro won the Mary E. Jarrard prize for her Graduate
paper. |
| Casey
Goff from Appalachian State University won the Mary E. Jarrard prize
for her Undergraduate paper.
